WoW! Deze herbruikbare poncho is gemaakt van onder meer afval bij maisproductie: 4% PLA, 60% PBAT en 36% maiszetmeel. Het zetmeel dat als bijproduct overblijft wordt PLA genoemd. Om van mais een soort van plastic (PLA) te maken worden de mais korrels met sulfur dioxide in heet water gemengd waardoor alle componenten in dit mengsel zich weer ontwikkelen tot zetmeel, proteïnen en vezels. Van de vezels wordt een soort van plastic gemaakt en zo kan er een poncho van ontwikkeld worden. Dit materiaal is 100% afbreekbaar en 100% composteerbaar. Verpakt in een insteekhoesje ook gemaakt van hetzelfde materiaal als de poncho zelf. Afmetingen uitgevouwen, gemeten zonder capuchon: 100 x 125 cm.
